In order to be able to set up and take over the payroll accounting for you, a few steps are necessary. We have compiled these for you in a simple checklist reduced to the essentials. The information and data required for the setup can be summarized in the following three steps:

1. COMPLETION AND SUBMITTING OUR CLIENT CHECKLIST

Entering into to the German market can be a challenge by itself. The sometimes overwhelming bureaucracy does not help.   As we have vast experience in guiding clients into Germany and to help settled clients optimize their situation we are delighted to be able to assist our new clients.   Engaging or changing a tax advisor is a sensitive process that is particularly critical for the entrepreneur, especially in the area of payroll accounting. We are well aware of our responsibility and our top priority is to carry out the change as "quietly" as possible for you. In our experience, the most critical moment here is setting up and setting up the basic data. In order to record the basic data, we ask that you send us the “Wage mandate checklist” as soon as possible.   You do not know all the information and data or you may not know exactly what is meant by a "company number" or where it can be found? Of course that's not a problem. We would be happy to help you complete the data. 2. TRANSFER OF PAYROLL DATA FROM PRE-SYSTEM OR BETWEEN GERMAN TAX ADVISORS

A significant issue when setting up and transferring the payroll accounting is the transfer of your payroll accounting data from your previous system or from your prior tax advisor. In particular, the transfer of data between DATEV offices is particularly easy. Of course we take care of the transfer of the data. All you have to do is tell us on which pre-system your payroll accounting was created and provide the contact details of your pre-consultant. We then take care of a collegial transfer of the data and an error-free integration of the data into our system. <code></code> Therefore, please tell us the previous system (e.g. DATEV LODAS; DATEV wages and salaries, Lexware etc., if known to you) and forward us the contact details of your previous consultant. You are also welcome to note this directly in the checklist at the point specified there. We take care of the rest.

3. PROVIDING YOUWITH THE ONGOING PAYROLL ACCOUNTING PACKAGE

The ongoing payroll accounting is complex and at the same time requires clear documentation of processes relevant to accounting. To this end, we want to ensure right from the start of our cooperation that we have the relevant documents available for you and that they are also available for future inquiries and checks. <code></code> We therefore ask you to send us the relevant documents - preferably in digital form. These include:
  • Employment contracts including any supplements and supplements
  • Personnel questionnaires
